Dr. Ronald E. Georges is the Chief Medical Officer for the Ministry of Health & Social Development. He has more than two decades of experience in public health, healthcare administration, and health system leadership. Dr. Georges previously served in several senior roles within the British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority, including Director of Primary Health Care, Acting CEO, and CEO. He holds an MBBS from the The University of the West Indies, an MSc in Public Health in Developing Countries, an MSc in Health Services Management from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and has pursued doctoral studies in Public Health Leadership at the University of the West Indies.
