Mr. Hicks is a professional engineer with over 25 years’ experience in the planning, design, procurement and construction management of major marine infrastructure capital projects throughout the US Southeast and the Caribbean.  He has unique and varied experience from acting as the owner’s representative consultant, engineering design lead and as a construction contractor, giving him a unique and comprehensive perspective on infrastructure delivery.  Many of his past infrastructure projects were delivered through a variety of procurement strategies including Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build.  Mr. Hicks is the US South and Caribbean ports sector lead for Stantec and has recently lead major port development projects in the Cayman Islands and Montserrat.
