Marco Monje is a Lead Investment Officer within the Infrastructure and Energy Division at IDB Invest responsible for originating and structuring transactions across energy, transportation, water & sanitation, and social infrastructure sectors throughout the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico. Marco has relevant experience in structuring transactions in the Caribbean region leading efforts in identifying, structuring, and executing high-impact projects. With over 15 years of experience in investments and financial services, Marco has a proven track record in managing complex transactions.

Prior to joining IDB Invest, Marco gained extensive experience in France with prominent firms such as HSBC, Rothschild, and Ernst & Young, where he focused on M&A operations, valuations, and a range of financial services solutions. Marco holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Strategy from Sciences Po Paris.
