Lee  Evans comes to Engage Cuba with years of experience working on Latin America. Most recently, she was in charge of political risk assessment for Latin America at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, based in Washington, DC. Lee covered Latin American politics and U.S. foreign policy toward the region, traveling throughout Latin America to conduct research and deliver client presentations in the Americas and Asia as part of the Bank’s risk management and global planning strategies. Prior to working in Washington, Lee conducted industry research for the Bank out of New York, focused on consumer sectors in the Americas, especially agribusiness. She has previously worked in consulting in the Washington metropolitan area and in marketing in New York City. She has also lived, worked, and volunteered with non-profit organizations in the Dominican Republic and is fluent in Spanish. Lee holds a BA from Cornell University and a Master’s in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from New York University.
