Gonzalo is the CEO of MAE and leads the company’s efforts to develop, build and operate a green hydrogen and ammonia project in northern Chile. He has more than 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry.

He was country manager in Chile for Distributed Power Partners (DPP), a developer of distributed solar generation (PMGD) projects in northern Chile. Prior to joining DPP, he served as Business Development Director for Chile and Argentina at Pattern Energy, a solar and wind energy developer and operator.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Chilean Association of Renewable Energy and Storage (ACERA). He is a lawyer from the University of Chile and has a Master’s Degree in Law from the NYU School of Law.
