Carlos Mancilla, Chemical Engineer from the Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile, has more than 25 years of experience in multinational electricity companies in countries where he has worked; Chile, Brazil and Colombia, in the management of assets and business units, technical services for various conventional and renewable technologies, as well as engineering and consulting. Today he leads the energy business for AECOM in Colombia and LatAm with a focus on green hydrogen, Power to X, Biomass to Biofuels SAF, Carbon Capture for energy transition with a focus on the development of Net Zero strategies to enable projects with low-carbon products and contribute to the decarbonization of industries and the economy. Today it is part of LatAm’s first green H2 project on an industrial scale, 120 MW in Paraguay.
