The market will only take off, however, if public policy and regulation can be married to private sector investment.<\/p>\n<p>Co-hosts New Energy and the Brazilian Hydrogen Association (ABH2) launched the Hydrogen Congress for Brazil (H2-Brazil) to put the spotlight on the country as an emerging force on the global Hydrogen stage. The two day virtual event focused on regulation and policy, financing and investment, current projects and key technologies, and more.<\/p>\n<p>H2-Brazil was the point of convergence for a broad spectrum of national, regional and international stakeholders all vested in the success of Brazil\u2019s nascent H2 market.<\/p>\n<p>Participants in the event included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brazilian policy-makers and regulators<\/li>\n<li>Brazilian and multinational energy companies<\/li>\n<li>Global Hydrogen industry investors<\/li>\n<li>Providers of development and private capital<\/li>\n<li>Law firms, consultants, and other providers of expertise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>About H2-Brazil Organizers<\/h5>\n<p><strong>New Energy Events<\/strong>, founded in 2009, has strong connections with Latin America &amp; the Caribbean and is the host of the annual Hydrogen Congress for Latin America &amp; the Caribbean (H2LAC), the most significant gathering of the Hydrogen market in the region to date.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Brazilian Hydrogen Association<\/strong> (ABH2) actively brings together the main Brazilian players involved in the development and implementation of hydrogen technologies and fuel cells.
