Hydrogen is rapidly becoming a critical solution for energy security and resilience in island nations. However, the Caribbean faces significant challenges in its adoption. Renewable energy, which is essential for producing green hydrogen, is struggling to keep up with demand. Additionally, green hydrogen is not economically viable without substantial international support.<\/p>\n

The 3rd annual H2-Caribbean will bring together technology providers, developers, financiers, and government officials to discuss the path forward for regional hydrogen development. The event will explore the steps needed to create a robust hydrogen economy across the Caribbean.<\/p>\n

The key question is: how close is the Caribbean to realizing a hydrogen economy? Developing low-emission hydrogen requires significant resources, investment, and infrastructure. Not all islands have the same potential\u2014some may lead, while others may need to wait.<\/p>\n

How to Register<\/h6>\n

H2-Caribbean will take place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 before the official kick-off of the CREF main event at the JW Marriott Marquis from 2:00 pm \u2013 6:00 pm. It is an optional, additional registration item. It is complimentary for all senior Caribbean government officials who should contact us<\/span><\/a><\/strong> to receive a code to apply to the online registration for 2025. For all other attendees, the incremental fee to attend H2-Caribbean is $475. You will be provided with the option to register for it when you register for CREF<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
