Lead Investment Officer
Elizabeth is a Principal Investment Officer, Infrastructure at IDB Invest, which she joined in 2016. She is responsible for originating and structuring investments to support the construction and operation of infrastructure projects in the water and sanitation, transportation, energy, healthcare and education sectors, with a particular focus on the Bank’s small and island member countries. Elizabeth has led transactions in Chile, Mexico, Uruguay, Haiti, Barbados and Brazil, including a variety of renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind and geothermal projects. Prior to joining the IDB Group, Elizabeth worked as a consultant for the Ministry of Agriculture of Peru, and as an advisor to municipalities and public agencies related to the issue of municipal bonds in the U.S.
Elizabeth earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in applied economics from Cornell University (USA).
