The Spanish wind energy company Gamesa Renewable Energy, is now investing in a 97 MW wind farm in Argentina. This new venture has consolidated Gamesa as a leader in renewables in Latin America.
Argentina has become an attractive investment for renewables companies as the country is looking to use in the next few years 8% of its total energy consumption from renewables and increase it to 25% by the year 2025.
With this new move, Gamesa, is one of the first companies investing in this source of energy in the country and could become a leader in the industry in Argentina.
