Solar development project in Barbados led by international partnership

MPC Capital has announced its expansion of development and investment activities in the Caribbean and Central America.

The company is currently active in Jamaica, Costa Rica, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and Colombia.

MPC Capital and Guinea Estates have partnered to lead the development of a 5MW solar project in Barbados. This project is expected to start construction in 2020.

The company plans to build a pipeline of wind and solar projects totaling 50MW in Barbados over the next few years, with over USD 75 to 100 million of investment capital.
