The organizers of the Cuba Energy & Infrastructure Summit are pleased to announce the participation of Mr. Jose Suarez Leon, Director of Energy in the Cuban Ministry of Agriculture (MINAGRI), and Mr. Roberto Verrier Castro, head of ProCuba, Cuba’s investment promotion agency. Mr. Suarez Leon will speak to the emerging opportunities for energy generation in the agriculture sector, particularly as they relate to biomass. Mr. Verrier will present energy projects which feature in the national “Folder of Investment Opportunities”, analyze the implications of the Law for Foreign Investment, and provide critical insights into how foreign investors can succeed in Cuba.
