Private company in Guatemala turn to solar

Laboratories Farkot, a pharmaceutical company in Guatemala, has installed 377 solar panels in their production plant. The solar local company Enertiva, which will oversee the project, is expected to provide a total of 120 KW for the company.

This project is expected to save US$ 20,000 yearly – 35% of the total electrical costs – and will reduce GHG’s caused by the company’s activities.
