New solar projects commissioned in Honduras for commercial hubs

Two new solar PV projects in Honduras were announced by the solar power provider Enertiva.

Under a PPA contract, Enertiva, which currently operates in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panamá and Nicaragua, will provide 1.41MW in solar power.

The two projects were commission by Corporación Lady Lee, one of the biggest corporate groups in Honduras. Its real estate activities are some of the most important in the country as the main developers of shopping malls. The company currently has eight in Honduras and one in Costa Rica.

The first solar power installation will provide power to Lady Lee’s newest shopping, ‘Mall Megaplaza’, and the second to a distribution centre in San Pedro Sula.
