Montserrat Geothermal – Third Well will be Drilled in early 2016

Montserrat geothermal projects to move forward next year.

Funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), a third geothermal well will be drilled in Montserrat.

Following on the heels of two other wells that are each currently producing 1.5 MW of power, this new well hopes to bring Montserrat geothermal production to ~5 MW.

Impact studies for the St. Georges Hill drilling site should be completed by the end of the year.
