Iceland Drilling Co. has been awarded a contract to drill two new production wells at the San Jacinto-Tizate Geothermal site in Nicaragua. The wells will have a production capacity of 72 MW.
Addtionally, Iceland Driling Co. will work to improve four existing injection wells.
The project award was given by Polaris Energy Nicaragua SA (PENSA). Drilling is expected to start next month.
