MAN Energy Solutions has won a contract to set up a combined-heat-and-power plant in Honduras for Progressive Energy, the energy arm of the ElcaTex Group.
The role of engineering, procurement and construction for the project will be led by MAN Energy Solutions, and they will also be responsible for construction of the entire plant.
Whilst the engines will operate on fuel when the new plant first opens, Progressive Energy plans to convert to gas operation once a secure supply of liquefied natural gas is established.
