Honduras inaugurates solar PV self-consumption project

Enertiva, in conjunction with Karim’s Group, have developed a solar project which will provide electricity to a production plant in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Karim’s Group is a multinational company operating in the real estate and textile industry. The Central American energy promoter Enertiva operates in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua. Enertiva was responsible for the development and installation of the 2.021 kWp solar plant. The yarn production plant Spinning Mills will use the installation for self-consumption of electricity. 

Over 5.464 solar panel on an area of 18.069 square meters have been installed. This is the largest self-consumption energy project for industry that Enertiva has completed in the country.
