Gaston Siroit currently serves as Director of Resources and Technology at the Undersecretary of Renewable Energy at Argentina’s Ministry of Energy and Mines. Gastón is responsible for all the technical aspects of his office’s renewable energy program. In addition, he is in charge of evaluating available renewable resources n Argentina and the promotion and incorporation of new technologies and new sources of renewable energy to the national energy matrix. Gastón has more than 12 years of experience in the energy sector in the country and abroad in different countries such as France, Italy, Uganda and Nigeria.

Gastón Siroit is an industrial engineer from the Technological Institute of Buenos Aires (ITBA) and mechanical engineer graduated from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Toulouse in France.. He also has a master’s degree in logistics from l’Ecole des Mines de Paris and a specialization course at the French Petroleum Institute (IFP) in France.
