Join representatives from the Geothermal Development Facility for Latin America (GDF) for a half-day Technical Assistance Forum (TAF) on the 50m EUR fund to support early development risk in geothermal projects. The workshop will provide attendees with opportunities to coordinate on existing and planned programs utilizing GDF funds and address best-practice regulatory and legal frameworks.  Participants from government agencies as well as private entities will be encouraged to provide input on potential opportunities for development banks and related entities to provide technical assistance support to programs which would advance policy and, in turn, geothermal development within the region.

The workshop will gather governments, developers, donors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders together with the ultimate goal to determine tools and approaches that will advance early stage geothermal exploration and development across the 10 target countries in Latin America: Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala.

The GDF Workshop is an optional registration item for GEOLAC participants. There is no fee to attend. You will have the option to reserve a place at the workshop when you register.
