The government of El Salvador released details of a new 28 MW tender. The tender will promote solar and biomass energy and will accept bids of up to 2 MW.
The country is expecting the tender to bring 20 MW in solar energy projects and 8 MW in biogas. The winners of the tender will be contracted for a period of 15 months and are expected to provide supply by the end of the first year.
