Cuba & China sign agreement for 100 MW of PV projects

Cuba and China have signed a commercial contract for the  implementation of a 100-MW photovoltaic project in the Greater Antilles. In 2015 the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) announced an AED-55 million (USD 14.9m/EUR 13.3m) concessionary loan to the government of Cuba for the development of a 10-MW solar project in the country.  This loan enables a Cuban renewable energy strategy that outlines investment until 2030 and low-cost PV panels from China make a continued partnership in energy the natural choice.
