Kristin Deason, Ph.D, is the lead representative in the Caribbean for the Global Green Growth Institute.  She is based in St. Lucia at the headquarters of the OECS, GGGI’s partner in the region.  Dr. Deason previously served in Fiji as GGGI’s Senior Regional Officer for the Pacific program at GGGI, where she developed projects related to renewable energy, green entrepreneurship, and NDC planning and implementation.

Prior to joining GGGI, she worked on renewable energy projects with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the U.S. Army and Navy, ARPA-E, and the governments of Germany and the EU.  She holds a Ph.D in Energy and Environmental Management from the George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Virginia.
