Emmanuel BROCHARD is VP Business Development of Naval Energies (formerly known as DCNS Energies), a subsidiary of the Naval Group (France).

After 10 years in marketing, sales and international business development positions in the import sector and the ink manufacturing industry, he joined the Naval Group (known as DCNS) in 2006 where he held marketing, sales and business development international senior positions.

From 2009 to 2011, Emmanuel has been Vice President and member of the board of Ocean Energy Europe association in Brussels supporting the development of marine renewable energies.

Emmanuel spends most of his time across the globe advocating Floating Offshore Wind and Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion to utilities, developers, policy makers, multilateral financial institutions, equity sponsors and all energy stakeholders. He is a frequent speaker at renewable energies events and conferences in both Europe and the USA.

Emmanuel graduated from Audencia Business School in France in 1996 and studied at the College of Business of the University of Cincinnati in 1995.

Naval Energies is currently developing two technologies in ocean energies: floating offshore wind and OTEC (Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion). Naval Energies is providing the 4 floating foundations for the 24MW French Brittany Groix Belle Ile floating wind pilot project (France) and is currently bidding for several onshore OTEC projects in the Caribbean providing renewable electricity, air conditioning (SWAC) and freshwater.
