The CREF Utility Leaders Workshop (ULW) is the cornerstone of CREF’s offering to senior utility executives. For the past three years, we extended the ULW to a full day and the event – in effect a conference in its own right – sold out each year. A full–house of Caribbean utilities engaged intensively with a world-class roster of experts and thought leaders.
The 2018 ULW agenda will be published shortly. You can view the 2017 ULW agenda here.
Comprising for 2017 a full day of highly interactive sessions and case-studies, this year’s CREF ULW took place on October 18 and focused, post-Irma and Maria, on critical issues around resilience, procurement, and the integration and implementation of renewables and storage on to island grids.
The 2017 ULW was co-hosted by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and co-chaired by Dr. Cletus Bertin, CEO of CARILEC, and H.G. Chissell, CEO of Advanced Energy Group. The agenda was developed in close consultation with key stakeholders and in particular with Rocky Mountain Institute. Please view the main conference agenda for the roster of speakers and topics.
The CREF ULW is complimentary for all senior Caribbean utility executives. Utilities should contact us to receive a discount code to apply to the online registration for 2018. For all other attendees, the workshop is an optional, additional registration item. The incremental fee to attend the Workshop in 2018 is $650. You will be provided with the option to register for the Workshop when you register for CREF.
