An agreement aimed at improving the Integration Programme of Renewable Energies (PER) was signed between Colombia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy and the FDN, last week. The FDN is a national financial institution supporting the financing of infrastructure projects and will work with the Ministry for eight months to identify financial instruments and projects to potential stakeholders. As part of the agreement, the two institutions will take steps to update the PER with new regulatory instruments and policies.
