Program Director for Renewable Energy Finance
Laura Andersen is a Program Director for Renewable Energy Finance at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), the U.S. Government’s Development Finance Institution. She is responsible for identifying, structuring, underwriting and closing transactions in the renewable energy and clean technology sectors, with a focus on Central America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining OPIC, Laura worked at Bain Capital, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, and Enclude. She received her Master’s in Economics & International Development from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware.
