The Geothermal Development Facility has issued its fourth call for Expressions of Interest for geothermal projects funding.
Projects in the following eligible countries, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Chile, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica and Perú, can apply for funding under this scheme.
Funding would be provided for surface studies or confirmation drilling.
The project is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, KfW -a German state-owned development bank, the European Commission, and IDA Fund Management.
Applications can be made between July 16th and August 29th.
