Peru’s wind and solar energy output increased by 79% year-on-year to 96 GWh. The opening of the Tres Hermanas wind farm is the source of this increase. The 97 MW site began operating in March.
Thus far, Peru has seen an overall 8.3% increase in renewable energy last year.
